I have been working with furniture for eleven years,
and have studied cabinet
making and furniture conservation at both College
and University levels.

It was after University that I decided to take the well
trodden path with Bonhams Auctioneers, years went by
and thousands of lots passed through my hands, the best education in the trade!

I decided to research many
of the pieces I bought whilst auctioneering and soon realised the satisfaction earned when good research was done, as well designed furniture with provenance and significance stands out from the crowd.

I have been known to sit into the small hours thumbing through reference books and catalogues because -
